Refund & Cancellation

Merge Core offers professional training with stated tuition in JPY on the Site for informational purposes. Actual charging follows enrollment agreements. Where the Consumer Contract Act of Japan applies to particular customers, mandatory rights are not waived; this policy explains our standard practice and may be supplemented by written order forms.

If you purchased a cohort seat directly from us and cancel within fourteen (14) days of payment without having accessed downloadable cohort materials beyond publicly available samples, you may request a full refund. Accessing restricted cohort rooms, mentor critiques, or proprietary templates may reduce refundable amounts as described below.

After the cooling-off window, partial credits may be offered where a program cannot run due to our cancellation or rescheduling beyond your reasonable availability—evaluated case by case. Application fees, third-party software you purchased separately, and shipping of printed materials (if any) are generally non-refundable once fulfilled.

If we cancel a program before start, you receive a full refund of amounts paid for that program or the option to transfer to another cohort. If we cancel mid-program due to force majeure, we will propose equitable remedies such as rescheduling or partial refunds proportional to undelivered sessions.

Email hello@merge-core.digital with your full name, program name, payment reference, and reason for the request. We may verify identity and participation logs. Approved refunds are initiated within ten (10) business days unless your payment processor imposes additional delays.

Refunds return to the original payment method where technically possible; otherwise we coordinate an alternative channel. Banks and card issuers may take additional days to post credits beyond our initiation window.

Abusive chargebacks after service delivery may result in declined future enrollments. If you dispute quality, we encourage good-faith resolution before bank disputes.
