Sticky Notes on the Wall Still Beat Fancy Dashboards (Sometimes)

Physical walls embarrass sloppy thinking in a useful way. During intent labs, we ask teams to move sticky notes when they change their mind publicly. The motion reveals hesitation that hidden spreadsheets smooth over.
That said, walls lie if analytics never arrives. We timebox tactile sessions and require a photo plus a digital twin by end of day so remote colleagues stay included.
For distributed teams, we replicate the effect with transparent layers in shared docs—still visible movement, still narrated decisions.
The closing habit we insist on: someone states the next measurement check-in date aloud. Tactile energy fades without a dated anchor.
